All the details you love
What is a classic sleepsack?
A classic sleepsack is a wearable blanket that replaces loose blankets. It keeps your baby safely covered all night while allowing freedom to roll, crawl, and kick.
When should I start using it?
Most parents switch to the classic sleepsack once their baby has outgrown swaddling or transitional sleepsacks — typically around 6 months. It’s safe to use as long as your baby needs a blanket for sleep.
How is it different from the transitional sleepsack?
The transitional sleepsack is snug around the torso and helps babies gradually adjust to arms-out sleep. The classic sleepsack is roomier — designed for older babies who are rolling, moving, or crawling in their sleep.
How long can my baby use it?
Our classic sleepsack comes in two sizes: 6–12 months and 12+ months. Many parents continue using sleepsacks well into toddlerhood as a safe blanket alternative.
What fabric is it made of?
The classic sleepsack is made with our SkinSoft™ Bamboo Cotton blend — breathable, all-season, and gentle on delicate skin.
Will my baby overheat?
No. The fabric is designed for India’s climate. Dress your baby in light or warm clothing underneath the sleepsack, depending on the room temperature (see our guide).
Can I use a blanket with the sleepsack?
No. The sleepsack itself is a safe blanket replacement. Extra blankets are not needed and can make sleep unsafe.
Does it restrict movement?
Not at all. The sleeveless design prevents overheating, while the roomy bottom supports healthy hip movement and lets your baby roll, crawl, and kick freely.
How do I wash and care for it?
- Wash before first use
- Machine wash cold, gentle cycle
- Use mild detergent, no bleach
- Tumble dry low or line dry
How many sleep sacks do I need?
We recommend at least 2–3 sleepsacks so you always have a clean one ready for night changes or laundry days.
